Thanks for joining us virtually on this journey!
The landscape of Chinese scholarship is constantly evolving, with government funding and new joint ventures providing an expansive array of opportunities for study, research, and cultural immersion in the People’s Republic of China (PRC). In this exciting inaugural NAFA China Study Tour, we will meet with scholars and representatives from academic programs in Beijing, Harbin, and Nanjing! Our group will also take time to better understand the cultural context in which these opportunities are housed.
Our itinerary includes:
BEIJING MAY 8-12:
ACADEMIC STOPS: Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, Yenching Academy, CET Beijing Language Program.
CULTURAL STOPS: Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Great Wall of China.
HARBIN MAY 13-14:
ACADEMIC STOPS: HIT, CET Harbin.
CULTURAL STOPS: Jewish Museum, Chinese Russian Marketplace.
NANJING MAY 15-17:
ACADEMIC STOPS: Hopkins Nanjing Center, Fulbright Scholars in Nanjing.
CULTURAL STOPS: Nanjing City Wall.
